On Hold Until Further Notice

The July 4th weekend is a popular destination for young and old to enjoy a parade, vendors, yard sales, games, barbecue and a fireworks display.  "Ukiah Days" is sponsored by several groups including the volunteer fire department.  The Battle Mountain AmVets Auxiliary sponsors events including the local fishing derby in June, Wednesday night bingo during the winter and the food bank.  The Stitch and Chatter quilting club meets twice a week, sewing quilts for personal use and raffles. The club has raised several hundred dollars for various community needs.

*Please Note: Our Saturday market does not operate when there is inclement weather.  We will be out in a bit of rain but the market will be cancelled on days when lightning is forecast.

We also help run a Family Movie Night in the park every Saturday evening at dusk.

Oregonian Obituary 2016Wayne Richard Barber, 88, of Ukiah died Tuesday, April 5, 2016, in La Grande, Oregon.  He was born August 3, 1927, in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, the fifth child of William and Maggie (Hughes) Barber.  The family moved to Oregon when Wayne was three years old, settling in Stanfield, where Wayne attended school.
